Mediated Vision addresses the shifts in the role played by technology in artistic practice. The interaction between theory and artistic practice is clarified in text and image. Special attention is also paid to contemporary artists who are investigating the possibilities presented by technologies of viewing and are developing a culturally distinctive visual idiom for this.
